Although country music generally finds more popularity in the south, the country music scene in Maine has a large following. Fielder Mattox captures how country music plays a role in certain communities of Maine.

Bill Rixon has been demonstrating outside LL Bean since September of 2023. He’s a member of Third Act Maine, a group of Maine elders who organize for the climate. Bill and his companions speak about finding meaning and purpose in their work when change is never guaranteed.

When artists enter towns, they usually herald incoming change. Jennifer Ouellette documents how this is taking place in Belfast, and how some people in the community do not want the change.
